Energy

Many investors believe there is gold in being economical. They see a sunny future for firms that generate power from solar panels, wind turbines and so on. After all, their fuel is free and generating on very low costs, on the other hand the bills of power stations that run on coal and natural gas are high and rising.

More countries are turning towards the same approach, towards a more environmental friendly world, not only due to the high prices of oil and the high inflation which is actually affecting all business's out there but also because governments are paying subsidies to help countries with these type of things.

RusHydro, is a partly state-owned company that owns most of Russia’s hydroelectric plants. Its capacity, of 25 gigawatts (GW), makes it the largest power-generation firm in Russia and its also one of the lowest cost firms in Russia. Its also planning on investing lots of money on new dams around Russia for more hydropower, but is this really what we want to see? Huge superpowers such as Russia (which is ironically rich in oil) turning towards the more "environmental friendly" ideas? Yes, this is the change we want to see.
